Top Gear approaches the legendary Lancia car collection in this video – demonstrating the fact that Lancia made some of the best (and worst) cars in history – but generally speaking they would rot away quite often! Ultimately, Lancia cars had a number of problems, but cars like the Fulvia Zagato are justifiably iconic.

Here, Auto Express looks at the new Fabia vRS, and sees how it compares to the genuine rally car as used by Skoda. The new vRS looks very well put together and has a decent level of performance. The turbo and superchargers that are fitted means plenty of power for this little pocket rocket. A very good car indeed.

The Vauxhall Insignia is actually a very reasonable performance car for the money, pumping out 325bhp to four wheels, meaning assured grip, poise and power. 0-60 is achieved in a very respectable 5.5 seconds. Here, James May tests out the car, whilst taking a special guest for a spin with him.

This is an extremely special car and the noise it makes is simply staggering! It’s a real shame I couldn’t make it to the festival of speed this year, but hopefully I will do in 2011!

Here, Clarkson provides one of his usual effusive (and rather expensive) reviews for Top Gear of a rather lavish slab of car, the BMW X6. Not small or shy by any means, it actually rather reminds me of the big man himself… The X6 is an ‘SAV’ or sports activity vehicle with coupe-like lines but a high driving position. This is definitely the ‘best of British’! The Noble M600 is an amazingly powerful beast, despite having a Volvo engine (the one from the XC90 as we’re reliably informed by Clarkson), it is also massively expensive. The fact that it doesn’t have any electronic features such as ABS – but then this is a REAL drivers’ car. It is meant to be driven, and driven by a person who actually knows how a car will respond rather than simply stamping on the ‘slow’ pedal.

Want one? Well, without even watching the review (which yes, I’ve seen before), I know that the M600 is an amazing car. It reminds me of the older TVR’s, which came with little as standard beyond a great chassis, an attractive exterior and mind blowing performance. So yes, I definitely want one!

In F1, there are limits on when testing of the current car can take place for the season. So, drivers and teams resort to using their simulators. In this video, Mark Webber takes the Red Bull F1 simulator for a spin, showing just how incredibly life-like it is. How brilliant would it be to have one of these in your house?!?

You won’t have seen anything quite like this before. Granted, it is a marketing viral from Dunlop Tyres for their new Street Response range, but this is reverse driving like none other. This footage kind of reminds me of the remake of ‘The Italian Job’ coupled with some sort of insane Top Gear test. More than worth watching!

Mountune have tuned up the Ford Focus RS, so if you weren’t lucky enough to pick up the special RS500 edition then this upgrade could well be for you. It has half a second on the standard car, strong brakes and a very nice raspy exhaust note.
