Morrisons have cut diesel prices for the second time in a fortnight, making them on par with, or lower, than petrol in some areas. The Morrisons price cut makes diesel cheaper than petrol for the first time in a staggering 14 years. Fuel duty was frozen again by George Osborne in the recent budget. Even better than that, around 1,400 fuel stations ran by the big four supermarkets 2p per litre was slashed from the price of diesel.
It’s a good time to be a diesel motorist – for the time being. We will report on any other major price changes as we become aware of them.
