In the time honoured tradition of lazy Sunday shopping or mooching, today I took a quick trip to the nearest Halfords to see what sort of bargains were to be had. I came away with some motorcycle oil, a tin of the correct paint to respray my car with, an interior air freshener, some interior wipes and a replacement rear bulb. Only two of those things were necessary. However, when you’re taking a stroll, if you see a motor related bargain, it can be extremely difficult to not add it to the basket.
So, a tin of paint, a clean and a bulb replacement later and my car is a little happier. But only a little. I did see some rather lovely Rinspeed alloys but there were £450. A little hard to justify from a short trip to the shopping park… Not to mention that would be a tidy little deposit for another car.
The final part of my trip involved a little look at Harley Davidson dealership. There’s definitely a Sportster Forty-Eight out there with my name on it!
