As the SUV is de rigueur at the moment, the latest offering from Skoda – the Kodiaq – should be a massive hit. The styling is very grown up, there are sleek lines rather than bold curves, it looks purposeful without being sporty. It frankly looks a bit like an Audi, which is not a complaint.
The Kodiaq is Skoda’s first large SUV and what is interesting is that if the interior lives up to the exterior, it looks like they have hit the nail completely on the head. The proportions appear right, the engines will no doubt be excellent (VW do know how to make them) and practicality should be available in spades.
The full Kodiaq lineup will feature at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, ahead of sales of the car which will begin early 2017. Look out for this one, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be good. More to follow as information is released in relation to price point, powerplants and performance/tech.
