The new Megane Renault Sport is set for release this year. In a first for hot hatches, it will have a four wheel steering setup (Renault names this the 4CONTROL system). The 4CONTROL steering allows for quicker turn in, smoother corning and greater precision. It works by means of an electromagnetic actuator mounted on the rear axle.
There will also be two chassis setups available for the Megane Renault Sport. They are Sport and Cup options. The Sport is the ‘standard’ ride setup, providing good performance whilst offering comfort. The Cup setting is designed to give maximum attack and is clearly more track biased.
We look forward to seeing more of this car and will provide updates as and when they become available.
