This is the latest addition to the Audi range – it is the all new S3 Sportback. As you can see in the picture, this is a stylish car with plenty of function too and the room to lug the dog, the family and whatever else you need. Power comes from a totally new 2.0 TFSI engine with turbocharging and direct injection. Performance is generated with 300PS and 380 Nm meaning a 0-60 sprint of around 5 seconds.
As the car is an ‘S’ badged model it means it naturally comes with the quattro four wheel drive which is one of the things that makes Audi so famous. There’s a suggestion that the engine is capable of 40 miles per gallon, though I’d wager you’ll want to drive it a little hard for that kind of return!
This all-new, even more spacious Audi S3 Sportback makes its world public debut in Geneva next month ahead of first deliveries in September. Ordering opens in April.
Recommended? Yes, highly. However, there’s no word yet on pricing so that may ring alarm bells for some.
