In the past, Jaguar may have been considered a marque that was best loved by the elder statesmen out there. Their cars were known for being extremely comfortable, smooth and, well… a little bit staid. JLR have come on leaps and bounds recently though with their new cars such as the XE. Suddenly the big cat has seen a huge jump in popularity, bringing fresh cars to a much younger demographic. It’s a little surprising then that the British brand has taken so long to get on the SUV band wagon with the Jaguar F-Pace.
That being said, there’s something in the old adage of “if you’re going to do something, do it right.” The proportions of the F-Pace are good, the styling is modern, the interior is luxurious and the performance even from the 2 litre diesel engine puts a lot of other cars to shame that weigh less. We at Car Articles are hoping to get up close and personal to an F-Pace soon but I’m sure it’ll come as no surprise to hear that we – and Auto Express – recommend this car highly. Well done JLR!
