In arguably the worst news since the axing (or the putting on hold) of the new Honda NSX, rumour has it that the British Motor Show could well be cancelled next year. The popular show that takes place during July/August biennially was last year faced by problems including a host of manufacturers pulling out at the last minute.
The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders) stated that it could be delayed a year – perhaps a good idea to avoid a future edition being in competition with the London Olympics. Oh well, I guess I’ll be off to the Scottish Motor Show again!
