The Audi TT coupe is the Car Articles Coupe Of The Year 2014 because, simply put, it is brilliant. It is stylish, cheap to run, has a choice of diesel or petrol, four or two wheel drive and even has back seats (okay, six footers will find it a struggle but hey you can’t have everything).
Best of all is that the Audi TT takes the previous car on to the next level in quite a dramatic fashion. The ride is compliant, grip is very good and performance is willing with whichever engine you pick. The interior is where this car really shines. Not only is it extremely upmarket and high quality but the digital dash display is simply one of the best on the market.
Every generation of Audi TT can be seen on British roads today – and this is a testament to how popular this 2+2 coupe has been. This mark three car will no doubt be just as popular, although it may be harder to spot it as compared to the mark 2 when considering the step change from the mark 1 up.
