You may have seen the new Hyundai i30 N hot hatch on Top Gear recently. Boasting over 270 horsepower and a 0-62 time of around six seconds, this car is certainly no slouch. However, the hot hatch segment is the only market that is a) seemingly still doing quite well and b) hasn’t been overtaken by SUV models. As a result, the i30 N has some serious competition from the likes of Ford, Volkswagen, SEAT etc. Does this car deserve to jump to the top of the tree in our recommendations?
