Just when you thought you’d seen all of the aggressive looking small SUVs that you could want in late 2018/early 2019, along comes CUPRA with the Formentor concept car. It would seem that whilst this body shape is not going to go away any time soon, CUPRA obviously needed a model in their lineup to pull in punters.
CUPRA is selling this as a vehicle (which) brings together the benefits of a performance car with the qualities of an SUV. It’s clear to see what they’ve gone for, but is it different enough to others on the market such as the Juke, CX-3, Karoq, 500X etc etc? Only time will tell, assuming it makes the cut to market which we’d stick a fiver on that it will.

We’ll keep you abreast of any developments in relation to the Formentor as they are released. This could well be one to watch.
