This concept car is the Skoda Rapid Sport and it is set to be shown off at this year’s GTI Meeting at Wörthersee (the 32nd to be precise). What do you make of it? Over the top or just right for something that should have pace?
Although little information has been provided on whether this is very much in design study phase or if it is a full blown ‘give us a good reception and we’ll build it’ concept, it does provide something interesting for the eyes.
The vehicle is painted in ‘Corrida Red’ and ‘Steel Gray’ metallic colors. The sporty car sits on massive 19” alloy wheels. The front of the vehicle impresses with spoilers and a powerful air intake in the skirt. Generously dimensioned fenders and massive rocker panels underscore the appearance of the vehicle.
The Rapid sits between the Fabia and the Octavia in terms of size and both VRS variants of those models are extremely good. Therefore, we are Car Articles are extremely excited to see whether the Rapid Sport makes production. It certainly makes for an attractive proposition.
