Car Articles Most Desirable Car Of The Year 2011

December 17, 2011 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Well, it couldn’t really have gone to any other car on the road could it? The Range Rover Evoque is a superb vehicle, offering wonderful comfort, off road performance (as proven on Fifth Gear), great on road handling and a design that makes everyone stop and stare when one drives past.

Coupe or five door sir? Two or four wheel drive? Petrol or diesel? The choice is yours. It is the smallest, lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever, using advanced technology to deliver sporty performance together with the lowest fuel consumption of any Range Rover to date.

The Evoque is a conclusion to the LRX concept design, which caused a stir when it was revealed by Land Rover. Perhaps as a testament to how great a design it is, the Evoque is almost the same.

Land Rover made a canny decision when moving forward with the Evoque. Considering current environmental concerns and most owners opting for smaller and more efficient, even the potent and ever useful Range Rover is seen by some to be a little excessive. The Evoque? Smaller footprint, much greater appeal.

Whether you are a Chelsea tractor driver or simply need to commute to work, I guarantee when you see the Evoque in the metal you’ll want one. The initial sales figures support the fact that just about everyone wants on of these. Myself included. That’s why, for 2011, The Range Rover Evoque is the Car Articles Most Desirable Car Of The Year 2011.
