Auto Express has a new article on how sales of petrol and diesel have slumped. The drop has been a total of £1.7 billion litres in the first six months of 2011. The biggest shock? A loss of £1 billion for the treasury. This just highlights exactly how much is taken by HMRC from fuel sales.
