Kia Motors will unveil a new concept car at the 2017 Frankfurt International Motor Show on 12 September 2017. Designed at Kia’s European design centre in Frankfurt, just 500 metres from where it will be unveiled, the concept car indicates what the next-generation cee’d could look like.
The concept presents a new body type for Kia. The extended hot hatch styling retains the athleticism of the current pro_cee’d model, while combining its striking visual presence with a dash of real-world versatility. Kia will unveil its new concept on 12 September on the Kia stand, located in Hall 9 of the Frankfurt Messe exhibition centre.
What do we think of it? Well the proportions of the rear almost promise a shooting brake. It is very forward thinking and a thoroughly modern design. Dare we say it, there’s a hint of the Ferrari FF in there. Ok, more than a hint at that angle. Compare the two on Google Images and you’ll see what we mean. For that reason, we really rather like it.
The body style should offer plenty of practicality and if most of the design is carried over to the production car this thing should sell in huge numbers on the presence alone. We want one – badly. Can we have it with a 1.6 turbo petrol please with plenty of power and low emissions?
