Mercedes-Benz Takes It Home Three Times At The World Car Awards 2015

April 7, 2015 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The famous German marque Mercedes-Benz has brought home the gold three times at the 2015 World Car Awards. Top of them all was the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which took home the prestigious World Car of the Year Award. The S-Class coupe was voted World Luxury Car 2015, while the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car picked up the award for World Performance Car 2015.

Mercedes-Benz was the only automobile manufacturer to make it into the final round of the awards with five vehicles. This commanding performance is unprecedented in the 11-year history of the “World Car of the Year” awards and serves to reflect the tremendous popularity of the Stuttgart-based brand among their customers. The international jury for these prestigious awards is made up of 75 renowned automotive journalists.

For us, we can’t argue with the awards. There’s a reason why most Mercedes have such high residual values at the second hand market and it is purely down to the quality of the cars on offer. The S-Class coupe in particular is an extremely desirable car which is a step beyond 90% of other cars on the roads.

Think that another car was more worthy? Provide your take on the Awards in the comments below.
