The previous generation Renaultsport Clio 197 remains as one of the best hot hatchbacks on the road. Great levels of mechanical grip alongside a wonderful revvy 2 litre engine and a slick manual box made for one seriously sorted car for track or road. The new outgoing car, which we have featured previously here, is in some ways a far more grown up affair. Does this mean though that the fun has been removed from this French performance car?
