Top Gear has a brilliant article on the difficulties Noble have faced bringing their superb M600 to the EU. Whilst making a car just for the UK is a huge challenge in itself when it is low volume and fairly bespoke, the costs rise exponentially when EU regulations are taken into account. Perhaps scariest is the 80% of top speed swerve test, which no doubt would require a test driver with balls of titanium! Joking aside, the regulations for the EU market are different to the IVA scheme ran in the UK and it makes for fascinating reading. Visit Top Gear to see the full article.
