The New 2012 Ford B-Max Is Sure To Keep You Safe

April 24, 2012 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

The all new 2012 Ford B-Max is bound to be a sure fire hit when it arrives in September (priced from £12,995 as I’m sure you’re desperate to know). Best of all are the extremely reassuring safety features that are fitted as standard. Features include extremely high strength steel fitted to all major impact areas, seven airbags, cowl area protection for pedestrians and a suite of smart and safe technologies designed to help drivers avoid accidents.

Ford also will offer its award-winning Active City Stop technology on B-MAX. This system monitors the road ahead and applies the brakes automatically if it detects a collision with a slow-moving or stationary vehicle in front of the car. As with all Fords, B-MAX features Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) – a braking and stability system that helps the driver maintain control of the vehicle under extreme conditions.

“Maintaining occupant safety and delivering all the benefits of the Ford Easy Access Door System was a key objective for us,” said Klaus-Peter Tamm, chief programme engineer, Ford of Europe. “The development team used innovative engineering solutions – and filed multiple patent applications – in the development of this unique car.”

Look out for more information on this car in the future. I’m extremely interested as it should set a new benchmark for reasonably priced family cars.
