For those of you who are fans of a little bit of wheeling and dealing, the foremost show, featuring hosts Mike Brewer and Edd China is returning for a new series tonight at 9pm on Discovery UK. In the first episode, Mike and Edd restore one of Britain’s most iconic cars in the form of the Aston Martin DB7.
The cheapest Astons in the UK are around £16,000 but Mike decides he wants to spend less. By calling around some dealers, he finds a tired trade-in at a large main dealer. The car has interior water leaks and external oil leaks, it drives in a sloppy way, the engine is blowing, and it feels unloved. The dealer is willing to sell for £13,500 but Mike gets him down further. Will Mike and Edd be able to restore this faded masterpiece and turn back the clock to make a profit on selling the most successful Aston ever? Tune in to find out.
