Dangerous Roads…

October 21, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

The roads near you may well be bad. Recently, I tramlined on my bike as there was a massive rut in the road from god knows what. Luckily, I didn’t come off and so avoided any kind of damage to my person or my motorbike. However, on the roads highlighted by Yahoo – roads such […]

Clarkson Reviews The Porsche Panamera

October 20, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

The Porsche Panamera is a good long distance cruiser but comes with somewhat challenging looks (that’s probably the most polite way of putting it). Some have wondered whether it’ll be seen as a classic in the future, as some cars are that get a rather mixed reception. Jeremy Clarkson provides his thoughts on this interesting […]

Subaru’s Hybrid Tourer Concept

October 19, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept

Subaru have gone through a massive transition of late – the biggest of course being the move from a saloon to a hatch for their Impreza model. The more ‘grown up’ image has been reflected through other models and this Hybrid Tourer Concept is the culmination of much work – with a huge number of […]

Jenson Button Is World Champion!

October 18, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Well, the wait is over. Jenson Button is Formula 1 World Champion of 2009 and Brawn GP are the Constructors’ Champions. Well done to all involved and congratulations to Button. It’s great to have another British champion. Whatever the critics may say, if you have the points, you take the title.

Buell Is No More

October 18, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Buell Motorbikes

Whilst this is first and foremost a car blog, I thought I’d share with you all the sad news that Buell motorbikes will be no more as Harley Davidson are focussing their efforts elsewhere. Whilst Buell motorbikes may not have been for everyone, at least they provided something different for the market and I certainly […]

Brazilian F1 GP – Final Q3 Positions For Top Ten

October 17, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Well, Rubens put in a sterling performance in the final qualifying session of the Brazilian Grand Prix. But is it going to be enough to actually ensure he can fend off Button or not? Only time will tell – but there are some interesting names in the top ten: 1 R Barrichello 2 M Webber […]

Brazilian GP – Qualifying

October 17, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Qualifying is ongoing at the moment, but shockingly Sebastien Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen were out in Q1. Worse still, Jenson Button is out of Q2, after putting in a poor performance. Heavy rainfall has blighted the weekend session, so no doubt tomorrow is going to be one hell of a race. Button has […]

iMOTOR: SEAT Ibiza Cupra v Renaultsport Clio 200 v Abarth 500

October 16, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

I’ll not give the game away, but which do you think will come out on top? Well for my money the Abarth 500 is a little too small for my taste. The Clio is extremely good looking and after a good few years of hot hatches you’d think that Renault have the formula down. However, […]

Suzuki Alto Completes A Huge Journey

October 13, 2009 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Two Suzuki Altos

Amazingly, two Suzuki Altos recently completed 2,112 mile marathon journey through New Zealand’s North and South islands – and back again. The diminutive little city car showed that it could mix it up with much larger cars. Motoring journalists Allan Dick and Donn Anderson each drove an Alto with manual and automatic transmission from Auckland […]
