Whilst I haven’t had the chance to drive the infamous BAC Mono, I have however had the opportunity to get up close and personal with one. Videos and pictures just do not do this thing justice. The level of detail is simply astounding, as is the minimalism of the thing. Perhaps most striking about this lightweight, single seat race car is that it is ROAD LEGAL. Just think about that for a moment. Something similar to an LMP or Formula 3 car that you can drive to the shops in.
Of course it is a total indulgence (and therefore rich man or woman’s play thing) to own such a car, but there’s little else that will give you the same driving experience or faintly terrifying performance. Does the BAC Mono take the top spot on the evo leaderboard? Watch the video to find out.
