Castle Combe has revealed the dates for six of its extremely popular Action Day events for the 2018 show season.
Famous for their array of on- and off-track excitement, the race track’s Action Day format typically features the likes of drifting demonstrations, public track time and white-knuckle passenger laps, as well as vast static club stands, trade villages and Show and Shine competitions to keep the thousands of spectators present thoroughly entertained throughout each event.
Acting as a ‘season opener’ for many car enthusiasts, Spring Action Day returns on Saturday 7th of April to set the tone for another electrifying year of motoring shows. Focusing on performance cars both old and new, be sure not to miss this kick-start to 2018! Keep your eyes peeled on the event’s all-new website for more information.
If you’re a fan of cars with the blue oval badge, be sure to check out Pure Ford on Saturday 12th of May. Following its hugely successful debut in 2017, this Ford-specific event is back with more action both on and off the track. Expect Ford-only track time, classic concours cars and plenty of dedicated clubs to feature.
Another event that returns for a second year is JDMCombe, which this time around will be held on Saturday 2nd June. From Honda Civics to Nissan Skylines, if it’s Japanese you’ll probably find it here! Huge drifting displays and themed show car stands are some of the highlights of this spectacular event.
Summer Action Festival will take to the circuit on Saturday 7th July – the all-action bonanza celebrating cars of all ages, all makes and all models! With specific areas for classic, kit, performance and modified cars, you’d be hard-pressed finding a more eclectic mix of vehicles than here.
Finishing the year’s string of multi-marque events in style is Forge Action Day – set to be held on Saturday 8th September. Here, performance cars are put in the spotlight with high-speed track demonstrations and a huge trade village offering up car parts bargains.
The final Action Day of the year is Mini Action Day on 29th of September. This celebration of the world’s favourite pocket-sized car features categorised track time, a giant car cruise where hundreds of examples parade around the track, as well as mini-specific passenger laps, club stands and trade stalls.
