Cyclops App May Save Your License

December 16, 2012 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

Struggling to find the ideal present for the motorist in the family this Christmas? How about an app that will help protect your driving licence for months or even years to come. A UK company currently leads the way in speed camera alert technology. Their technically advanced and inexpensive iPhone app, now available at an annual special Christmas subscription of £9.99 plus VAT, will help to provide peace of mind whilst driving by alerting drivers to the over 17,500 vehicle speed cameras of various types including all fixed, average, red light, variable, temporary and mobile zones now operating in the UK.

The Cyclops Speedwatch version 2 is the world’s first community based, real-time intelligent speed camera alert system. Key features and benefits include real-time warnings for all camera types, accurate and timely data with no false alerts, instant personalised alerts diverted direct to the driver’s smartphone, and it is simple, intuitive and easy to use.

The operation of the Speedwatch app is automatic and, once opened, does not require any user interaction in order to receive alerts or updates. It offers genuine background running which means that you can exit the app to play audio, make business calls and even us other apps and still receive the audio tone and notification alerts when you approach a speed camera or go over-speed. Single button reporting means that the user only has to touch the screen once – the unique Cyclops smart server algorithms undertakes all the hard work to filter and check alerts before they are issued to the community, which now numbers over 400,000, and this means that it is easy, but more importantly, safe to use allowing the driver to concentrate and focus on the important task of driving.

The Speedwatch app is available on iPhone in the UK through the iTune app store. Further details, including a demonstration video, is available at www.speedwatch.com.

Additional information is available at www.cyclops-uk.com.
