The roads near you may well be bad. Recently, I tramlined on my bike as there was a massive rut in the road from god knows what. Luckily, I didn’t come off and so avoided any kind of damage to my person or my motorbike. However, on the roads highlighted by Yahoo – roads such as the infamous North Yungas Road – you’ll be facing much more than a few potholes.

“Some of the nominations here may seem a little quirky, but few will deny that Bolivia’s ‘Death Road’ is the most dangerous in the world. North Yungas Road snakes across roughly 45 miles of the Andes, from La Paz to Coroico, with drops of up to 3,500m… and dozens of wrecked vehicles at the bottom.”
