A stellar line-up of famous faces from the worlds of F1 and film will converge on Hexagon in north London this June for a must-attend charity evening.
Celebrating ‘The Life of Ayrton Senna’, Hexagon will bring together a star-studded panel of experts who will share their memories of a Brazillian racing driver regarded by many motorsport fans as the greatest ever – three-time world champion Ayrton Senna.
The evening will raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity. Hosted by Sky F1’s Natalie Pinkham, very special speakers will include Mercedes-Benz F1 Executive Director Paddy Lowe, Williams F1 co-founder Patrick Head and ex-F1 drivers David Coulthard and Martin Donnelly. The event will also be joined by Manish Pandey, writer and producer of the brilliant 2010 film, ‘Senna’. Other celebrity guests, including current F1 drivers, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Paul Michaels, chairman of Hexagon Classics, said: “Ayrton Senna was a racing driver’s driver – a man capable of incredible feats behind the wheel and a true sporting legend, who inspired fans around the world like few others. I am very proud that Hexagon will be hosting this event to celebrate his life and I am hugely grateful to all our expert speakers who will no doubt be giving us some unparalleled insight into the great man. It is set to be a very entertaining evening indeed. Most importantly, though, this evening will raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart. My granddaughter owes her life to the wonderful care she received while at Great Ormond Street and I am so happy that we will be able to give something back to this great hospital – and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals too – helping them to continue their incredible work.”
‘The Life of Ayrton Senna’ celebration evening will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, June 30th at Hexagon’s north London showroom located at 90 Fortis Green, London, N2 9EY.
Tickets cost £185 and interested guests are asked to RSVP: [email protected] or call 07711 169 111.
