Some of you may well be familiar with the Noble brand, for the M12 and the M15 specifically. Both very much focussed drivers’ cars and by that I mean you’re more likely to use them on some B roads for fun than you are for going shopping. The teaser image above is from Fenix Automotive Ltd, the latest venture from the genius that is Lee Noble. Note, the car doesn’t yet have a name, but already looks staggeringly purposeful.
While Lee Noble has given a strong hint that the car will be a ‘natural, but even more focused’ successor to his iconic M12, his new design is fresh, bold and dramatic, with a premium feel normally associated with exotica costing over £150,000.
“The M12 was hugely successful, but we needed to move the game on in terms of design,” said Lee. “The new car’s styling owes nothing to what I’ve done before and has quite literally been a ‘clean sheet’ exercise from the start. It’s edgy, with powerful lines, and aerodynamically will be in another league to any of my previous cars.”
So, what do we think at Car Articles? My guestimation is that this will be one hell of a drive. I guess the big question is whether it will outperform the massively impressive Noble M600 (my estimation will be that the Fenix car will feature more – aka some – form of driver aid!).
