You may have read in the press that Saab has been saved and the brand is no longer going under. It has been rescued from bankruptcy by National Electric Vehicle Sweden, which is owned by a Chinese entrepreneur. NEVS has the right to continue manufacturing the well received 9-3 but is also focusing on the electric car.
For this reason and to celebrate the fact that Saab is still in business, Motorpoint are offering nostalgic pricing on the 11 plate diesel Saab 9-3 1.9 TTiD 160 Turbo Edition Estates that they have in stock. All are available in jet black, carbon grey or arctic white for £13,599 – a saving of £10,890 on the official price.
Such is the popularity of the Saab that even after they halted production in 2011, Motorpoint continued selling the popular car due to strong customer demand for the model.
Says David Shelton, Motorpoint Managing Director: “Over the years, we have sold hundreds of Saabs at Motorpoint and we’ve even used them for company cars. As you can imagine, we’re looking forward to seeing a new model on the road but until then we’re proud to offer our customers a selection of Saabs at the best price on the market.”
