Turtle Wax have a new range of products branded ‘ICE’. One of them is the new synthetic liquid wash, which is a clear, synthetic formula designed to produce ‘unbeatable cleaning and shine’.
Here’s the information direct from Turtle Wax:

- Active ingredients are biodegradable
Directions
This car wash product is extremely simple to use. All that it requires is an initial first wash of the car with cold water, followed by introducing two capfulls of the car wash fluid into a bucket of warm water. It was then simply a case of washing one area at a time, making sure that the solution doesn’t dry on the surface of the car (or metallic paintwork of any other vehicle). The final stage is rinsing and drying of the surface, with the recommendation that you pay particular attention to glass.
My experience
In time honoured tradition, Sunday is a great day to wash the car. So, that’s exactly what I thought I would do. Bucket? Check. Chamois? Check. Car Wash? Check. So, off I set. Firstly, it was quite cold so I didn’t want to spend too long outside, but I did want to give the product a good test, so I determined to wash one panel first and compare.
I was quite impressed with the results of the initial wash I must say. My car has a black metallic finish and it really brought out the shine – removing all muck, grime and insect deposits. Better still, there were no streaks or marks left afterwards and there was a nice buff left afterwards.
Overall
I’d certainly recommend giving Turtle Wax ICE Synthetic Car Wash a go. It’s pretty quick to use, very efficient and it’ll bring out the shine on your car. It comes in a 473ml bottle which should be good for around 10 washes.
