March 31, 2015 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

There is still time to buy your advance tickets for Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble, taking place on 16th and 17thMay 2015. But make sure you buy before 10th May to take advantage of these special advance price reductions. With over 1,000 stands and countless bargains to be had, it’s the spring motoring event that you can’t afford to miss.

Whether you are after that elusive part to finish your winter project, searching for essential spares to keep your classic on the road, or simply enjoying rummaging through a whole host of automobilia, literature and automotive treasures, the Spring Autojumble is the place to be. Take a stroll through the Motormart to see a wide selection of up to 100 classics for sale – in all shapes, sizes and conditions.

Make sure you visit Moggy Fest, an extravaganza celebrating the much-loved Morris Minor, courtesy of the Dorset Branch of the Morris Minor Owners’ Club. Winners of last year’s Best Stand award, the club aims to display an example of the Morris Minor from every year of production, from 1948 to 1971. See also, their charming recreation of a 1960s Morris showroom, workshop and parts department.

A large number of  Owners’ clubs will be in attendance, including the Wessex Car Club, who will be putting on their usual display of members’ vehicles. On Sunday Trunk Traders will be offering amateur jumblers the chance to sell off their unwanted tools, spares and miscellany. Also on Sunday, in its own dedicated area, the Beaulieu Land Rover Sortout is sure to have plenty to delight fans of Britain’s favourite 4X4.

The popular Walkabout Auction will again take place at the end of the show on Sunday, giving exhibitors the chance to sell off unsold stock. With no auction fees to pay, and just £1 to for a box to fill with items, it’s an inexpensive and hassle-free way to sell off those last few items.

Stop by the Practical Classics stand, media sponsor of the Spring Autojumble, to see the magazine’s team building the fastest vehicle ever assembled from parts found at a Beaulieu Autojumble. With Donald Campbell’s Bluebird CN7, on display in the National Motor Museum, as their inspiration, it is sure to be quite a sight.

A free delivery service to the Beaulieu visitor car parks is available for items bought at the Autojumble. Bureau de Change and cash facilities are available on-site.

Advance tickets, cost £9.00 for an adult and £6.70 for a child, with a price saving for two-day tickets, and can be booked through the ticket hotline, 01590 612888, or online at www.beaulieushop.co.uk.
