Prompted by the huge success of last year’s concours event, The Warren Classic and Supercar Show will take place again for 2017, being held on Sunday 24th September within the scenic surroundings of the exclusive The Warren Golf & Country Club, located near Maldon in Essex, and convenient for London, the Kentish ports and the M25 motorway.

The Warren Classic and Supercar Show established itself in 2013 as one of the key classic car concours events in the United Kingdom, attracting thousands of visitors to this relaxed and stylish celebration of classic cars and supercars.

The Warren Classic and Supercar Show has subsequently grown to offer visitors the opportunity to see some of the finest classic and contemporary cars and supercars in the world, all gathered together at Essex’s most prestigious motoring event. The highlight of the annual show is the highly-prized The Warren Concours d’Elegance, where the finest classic cars are judged by an expert panel.

In addition to the Concours is the Drive-In for classic cars brought to the event by their enthusiastic owners, plus a new classic car tour for 2017.   These vehicles are then displayed alongside a mouth-watering array of supercars, which in previous years has included the most powerful car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron.

For this year’s late September event at The Warren, a wide variety of classic cars have already been entered.  These range from a 197cc Tourette microcar – one of just 26 built in Croydon between 1958 and 1958 – to an exotic V12-engined Ferrari BB 512, fitted with wild 1980s Koenig coachwork.

Other early The Warren Concours entrants for 2017 are set to include a freshly restored 1955 Bentley S1 Continental Drophead Coupe, plus a stunning Gurney Nutting-bodied Bentley 4 1/4 Derby, as well as a 1930s Lagonda LG45 Pillarless Saloon, a 1938 Delahaye 135C Competition roadster, a late 1950s Abarth 750 Monza Zagato, and the famous 1950 HWM Stovebolt Special.

A unique entry for The Warren will be the Mirov 2, a one-off ‘Russian’ prototype, made specifically for a television advertisement to promote a British building society in the early 1990s.  Among the 125 vehicles planned to participate in the 2017 The Warren Concours will be a special class to mark the 60th anniversary of the iconic Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, with plans also developing very well for a dedicated concours category for Ferrari competition GTs and single-seaters.

Owners wishing to enter a suitable classic or supercar for consideration for the 2017 edition of The Warren Classic and Supercar Show on Sunday 24th September can enter their vehicle via The Warren website at: http://www.warrenclassic.co.uk/index.php/concours-entry-form?view=form .

The Drive-in Classics section of The Warren will give the opportunity for car clubs and enthusiasts to display their pride and joy, and the event enables visitors a wonderful opportunity to view some of the world’s finest classic motorcars, and get up close and talk to the owners of the many rare and desirable machines gathered at The Warren Golf & Country Club, near Maldon, Essex.  Discounted admission tickets to The Warren can be purchased in advance at http://www.warrenclassic.co.uk/tickets.
