Top Gear isn’t exactly a hard sell to those who car anything about our four wheeled guilty pleasures. Throw in some light comedy, some celeb car laps and some madcap moments and it makes for a show that the whole family can enjoy. We’re now up to series 19 and it seems to be, for me at least, still going strong. I know there’s some out there that feel like the formula is getting a little old but it genuinely feels like a favourite pass time or an old friend.
There whenever you need a little pick me up but never in your face or likely upset. It will no doubt be the end of an era when Top Gear closes the doors. May it be long after my time has past as it brightens the end of the weekend and puts a smile on my face. Clarkson, May and Hammond we salute you. Not least for having the passion that we all share with you. Your enthusiasm is what brings the show to life.
