Motorpoint is celebrating its first anniversary in the North East by offering one lucky person the chance to win £1,000 next week.
The UK’s leading car supermarket opened the doors to its nine-acre branch on Durham Road in Birtley in November 2015 after a multi-million pound investment in the purpose-built supersite – creating over 50 new jobs in the process. Since then Motorpoint Birtley, which stocks 600 new and nearly new low mileage cars onsite from 30 different manufacturers, with instant access to a further 6,000 plus cars in group stock, has gone on to sell cars to customers from across the North East, North West and the Scottish Borders from its base conveniently located close to J63 of the A1.
And, to mark its birthday Motorpoint is giving visitors to the Birtley site the chance to win £1,000 worth of Love2Shop vouchers in the run up to Christmas. To win, visitors simply need to visit Motorpoint between Monday, November 7 to Sunday, November 13 and correctly guess the number of footballs in the Fiat 500 that will be located next to the Main Reception. The winner will be picked at random on Monday, November 14.
Mark Carpenter, Managing Director of Motorpoint, explained: “We thought we’d celebrate the first anniversary of Motorpoint in Birtley in timely fashion by giving one lucky person the chance to win a £1,000 worth of Love2Shop vouchers just before Christmas. Motorpoint Birtley has also been busy raising its profile of late in the surrounding area – most notably joining forces with Birtley Town FC as the club’s main shirt sponsor for the 2016-17 season. It is also set to announce a major sports partnership with Northumbria University in the coming days.
