Become a Nature Detective at Beaulieu this Easter, follow the wildlife treasure trail with fairy doors, see the giant tree carving and enjoy animal-themed face painting and family activities around the attraction from April 8th – 23rd 2017.
Collect your own special Nature Detective trail bag to gather wildlife treasure on the Mill Pond Walk beside the picturesque Beaulieu River. Along the way, discover fairy doors which are hidden in the trees and stop to use your trail bag crayons to make a set of bark rubbings.
Then head inside Palace House for animal face painting, before capturing your image in a photograph taken through the hanging picture frame in the stunning grounds and daffodil-covered Wilderness Garden outside. Just upload your pictures with #BeaulieuEaster to the Beaulieu Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram for the chance to win a family annual pass for more visits to Beaulieu.
Take a ride on the high-level monorail for the best view of our tree-top griffin carving, which has the tail and back legs of a lion and head, wings and talons of an eagle and is the heraldic, mythical creature which supports the Montagu family coat of arms. The eye-catching sculpture has been carved from an oak tree to welcome visitors to Beaulieu.
Over Easter weekend, from April 14th – 17th, you can also meet our larger-than-life Easter bunny, pick up a chocolate treat from Palace House and see the National Motor Museum come to life with veteran cars motoring around the grounds of the attraction.
All of the Easter activities are included for free with general admission entrance. Rides on the monorail, vintage bus and Wheels – which takes you on a journey through time to experience 100 years of motoring history – are also included in the ticket price.
A ticket to Beaulieu includes the National Motor Museum’s collection of more than 250 vehicles – from the fastest Land Speed Record breakers to a giant motorised orange – the World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars and the beautiful grounds and gardens.
Go Karts are also back by popular demand on the events arena throughout the Easter break, from April 8th – 23rd, for a good value extra charge.
Beaulieu tickets can be bought in advance online. Visit the website for more information about Easter at Beaulieu (www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/nature-detectives) or call 01590 612345. Beaulieu is open daily from 10am-5pm.
