Well – surely the picture says it all. This is the stunning Maserati Levante, a car that is bound to create a stir when on show at the Geneva International Motor Show 2016. It is the first ever SUV for the Italian marque which just goes to show how popular this bodystyle really is.
It has all the hallmarks of the Maserati design studio – from the large rear haunches through to the streamlined rear end and iconic air vents to the front wings. From a technical standpoint the car has been designed to tackle roads as well as low grip environments. Would you want to get something this gorgeous covered in mud though?
Little has been said so far about the performance figures but there’ll be a petrol and diesel unit available along with a hybrid in time. Some cars have already been completed and will be shipped around Europe during Spring 2016. Deliveries to the rest of the world will take place later in the year.
