The Telegraph has reported a speed camera ticket issued in error – after a driver was shown incorrectly to be travelling 56 miles per hour about the limit! The driver in question, it was reported, contested the error and got a solicitor involved. A check of both photographs apparently showed the driver had not in fact broken the speed limit – never mind the national speed limit – on the stretch of road where the camera was placed.
