The Telegraph has covered the fact that Boris Johnson is looking at raising the current fine for leaving your engine idling from the standard £100 (in London) all the way up to £120. This will bring it in line with parking offences. My question is who is going to enforce this and who is leaving their vehicle idling in this day and age when fuel costs so much?
