This is the 2012 Abarth 695 Edizione Maserati – and my what a beauty she is!
Set to cost £32,000 (OTR) when it goes on sale in the UK at the end of this year, it comes with a set of stunning Tramontano leather luggage amongst the exclusive convertible’s long list of standard equipment.
Just 499 of the 180bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged superminis will be produced and the 0p-60 run takes less than 7 seconds. Maximum torque offered is 250 Nm in sport mode. Transmission is an Abarth Competizione gearbox with five speeds and flappy paddles to make the most of the GT characteristics of the car.
Special features include:
- Brembo monobloc callipers with floating 305mm discs
- Koni shock absorbers
- Dual mode exhaust
- Sand beige leather interior
The paintwork is particularly special. It is Pontevecchio Bordeaux – a Maserati colour which is triple layered to reflect light and really shine. Door and rear panels have been given a special UV-LUX treatment, to give an elegant grey ‘flocking’ effect.
