There is something positively classy about the Volkswagen Golf. Granted, there are hotter cars now on the road than the GTI. There are bigger hatchbacks that can provide more practicality. There are more luxurious cars in a far higher price bracket. Few cars however combine all of these elements into one package so well, at reasonable ‘everyday driver’ money. The VW Golf GTI Clubsport Edition 40 is a very special hot hatch, in that it is the fastest front wheel drive VW that money can buy.
