We at Car Articles love at good concept car. Whilst the production car can sometimes prove to be derivative or similar to a previous model, it is the promise of a concept that we love. We also hold brave manufacturers (such as Kia with the Stinger) that finish a car to a design specification similar to the original concept in high regard.
We therefore hope that we can look up to INFINITI when a production model looking like this Q Inspiration Concept is produced! This concept is being shown at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The official unveiling will take place on the 15th of January 2018. We can only state that those curves and that smooth rear end with the full length tail lights really appeal.
Karim Habib, INFINITI Executive Design Director said “We aim to take traditional saloon architecture to its next stage of evolution. Experimenting with new proportions in an established segment with the arrival of smarter, compact powertrains, the Q Inspiration features a shorter hood and elongated body, with all the benefits to interior wellbeing, comfort and space that this layout entails.”
