You may recall the previous coverage on Car Articles of the Infinity Q50 Eau Rouge concept car. No longer a concept, this performance car has a monster engine – a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine with an output of 568hp and 600Nm of torque! No doubt performance will be impressive especially as it is mated to a four wheel drive system and seven speed gearbox.
The most powerful and exhilarating petrol-powered Infiniti model has not been confirmed for production, but performance is impressive. 0-62 in less than 4 seconds and a top speed of over 180 miles per hour is quoted. Somewhat less exciting is the 2 litre powerplant destined for China and Europe. It develops 214hp and 320Nm of torque so hopefully it’ll be strong on efficiency.
