Supercar Saturday Is Coming To Brooklands

July 21, 2013 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

For anyone who loves supercars, there’s a real treat in store at Brooklands on 27th July. ‘Supercar Saturday’ is unusual in that it not only allows visitors to get right up close to everything from Ferrari and Maserati (new and old) to the likes of McLaren MP4-12C, Aston Martin DB7 and DB9, Porsche 911 and 928, AC Cobra, Alfa 8C Corvette Stingray, Ford Mustang and many more, but you also get to see them in action – at close range. And tickets are kept extremely affordable, so you can take the whole family along without breaking the bank.

Event organiser Phil Ward explains what makes Supercar Saturday so special: “At many venues, exotic cars are fenced off in secure enclosures but at Brooklands, with its friendly atmosphere, the visitor can inspect the cars at close quarters – and then see a selection run up the famous Test Hill. We’ve kept ticket prices down to just £12 for adults and £6 for children so that a family day out doesn’t cost the earth – and there’s no need to book tickets in advance. Just turn up on the day and enjoy the spectacle.”

Historic Brooklands has easy access via London’s arterial motorways and is conveniently located just within the orbital M25. It has excellent aviation and motoring exhibitions and is served by a choice of quality catering facilities.
