TIGOSE Apprenticeship Programme Expands

December 1, 2014 by Mr Butterscotch Leave a Comment

TIGOSE (The International Guild of Specialist Engineers), the UK-based association which represents and supports specialists and businesses in the motorised historic and classic transport industry, announces today a new partnership with Emtec Colleges Ltd, to deliver training in more areas than the original scheme had planned: Paint, Panel, Trim, Customer Service, Parts and Machine Shop Engineering.

The additional training is the result of TIGOSE’s search for training providers who could support supplementing areas of expertise and development within one of the fastest-growing industries of all time.

Emtec Colleges are part of The Central Colleges Group and the owners of the training academy that TIGOSE had already identified as the preferred venue for The Guild’s Apprenticeship Programme. Their brand has a long history of automotive provision in the UK and they support vehicle manufacturers at home and in overseas markets. Emtec are also the leading trainers for the World Skills UK team, both in body and paint specialties.

The partnership was sealed in November and Apprentices will be starting on the Restoration Programme on 8 December. For details about The International Guild of Specialist Engineers, and its apprenticeship Programme, visit www.tigose.com.
