Some things in life do not come as a surprise – and for me at least the fact that Jeremy Clarkson is at the top of the BBC pay scale is one of those facts. Simply put, Top Gear is a show and format familiar quite literally around the world, and I say that in a Jezza style half exaggeration. I’m sure that whatever the Beeb pays Mr Clarkson they get far more back in return thanks to his well known focus and drive to continually make Top Gear a success. Jezza, we salute you.
