The world is full of acronyms – words that, split by each letter, have meaning. POWER in relation to cars or motorised vehicles in general, is an especially important one. You might have been taught it when you learned to drive or ride a bike. Do you remember what it stands for?
POWER…
P – Petrol (or diesel), the first one is for fuel. Make sure you have some!
O – Oil, don’t set off if it’s really very low as you risk engine damage. Check it!
W – Water, and other fluids required. Check your levels!
E – Electrics, does everything work as it should and is everything responding as normal?
R – Rubber, you won’t get far with a damaged or punctured tyre and you could even be a danger on the road!
There’s a few of these out there but POWER is a great way to remember some basic car checks for your motor.
