Ever Been Pulled Over?

In the words of James May, have you ever been pulled over by the ‘rozzers’? This isn’t a full article, but more of a straw poll so that we can compare and contrast. For my money, the last dealing was with my ‘off’ when on my motorbike. One of them was fine and polite, the other, well… not so much. I’ve been in the fortunate position of not having been pulled over in my car though. What about you? Has the long arm of the law tickled your neck for any reason, justified or other?

Between the age of 18 and 21, I think it must have averaged once every month… sadly, they were right to!

Never when driving myself but once with a friend at the wheel. Policeman walked over to the window and says

“Do you know why we stopped you?”

Friend says “Is it because my headlight is out?”

Policeman says “No your brake light but I’ll take a look at your headlights now”

Lesson learned about not suggesting any other faults!

Here’s a good one for you:

A friend was pulled over:

Cop: Why are you driving so slowly?
Friend: It’s a 20 limit.
Cop: Oh yeah. Ok.
Friend: Can I go?

Quite a strange encounter with law enforcement but the road had recently been made a 20mph limit so perhaps that’s the explanation!
