GEM Motoring Assist has regained its place as the UK’s number one breakdown recovery provider in the Auto Express Driver Power awards. The result sees GEM in the top spot for the seventh year out of the last ten.
GEM chief executive Paula Williams said: “We are of course absolutely delighted to be back in top position this year, and we thank everyone who voted for us. Yet again this goes to show that being biggest doesn’t mean being best.”
“Our commitment to providing GEM members with the best possible service was confirmed by our top scores in the ‘order process’ and ‘friendliness and helpfulness’ categories of the survey. We go out of our way to provide them with the best possible service, not just when they need breakdown assistance, but for every motoring query they may have. They know we are no more than a phone call away, and we are always delighted to hear from them.”
GEM was previously voted number one for breakdown cover in the 2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, 2010 and 2008 Auto Express Driver Power Surveys, and was runner up in 2016, 2012 and 2009.
