With Jaguar, you might well think luxury and style. However, the XE is going to bring a new dimension to the big cat brand – effiency – in a big way! The XE is so forward thinking, a new aluminium alloy was invented, RC5754, which uses highly recycled aluminium to dramatically reduce energy consumption and lifecycle CO2.
It uses an all-new modular architecture developed around Jaguar’s fifth-generation bonded and riveted aluminium technology and is set to deliver over 75 miles per gallon with the right engine, along with less than 100 g/km of CO2.
