Supercars have to move with the times too and many manufacturers are now looking at ways to make their supremely powerful performance models lighter and better for the environment. For some, the ultimate goal is electric (I don’t necessarily agree but let’s not get drawn into that now) and Merc have done what few others have – transformed their SLS petrol car into an electrically powered monster. It’s only a concept at the moment and hasn’t gone fully into production, but when it does I’m sure it’ll be even better than shown here (and hopefully not in that ghastly colour).
There seems to be alot of anti electric car feeling at the moment but once people realise the performance of many electric cars is superior to their ICE counterparts things will change.
