The SUV continues the rise to world domination and this car – the Kia Sportage – is set to feature heavily! This is the fourth generation car from the Korean manufacturer and it will make its global debut at the Frankfurt International Motor Show on 15th September 2015. Not only is it a very striking design but it looks more purposeful than the outgoing car. From some angles (the rear 3/4 line) there’s even a whiff of Porsche Cayenne.
The all-new Sportage is characterised by its sportier, more raked profile. From the side, the all-new Sportage retains the swept-back silhouette of the outgoing model, with a roofline that tapers slightly towards the rear of the car, longer front overhangs, shorter rear overhangs and longer wheelbase. Smooth bodywork, bolder wheel arches and sharp lines endow the Sportage with a more dynamic, muscular look.
Not only will this car be a massive seller, but it should also be really rather good. It might also mean I can get my hands on a third generation model for less money when this comes out! A good car made even better – this is why the new Kia Sportage is our Something for the Weekend…
